Condensed Biography of Jillian Ludwig,

Before moving to Lafayette Indiana in early 2010 to continue her studio practice, Jillian and her husband lived in Lyon France were she devoted her time to creating work and international travel.

In the United States, Jillian was an adjunct instructor at Baylor University in Waco TX, Texas State University in San Marcos TX, and at the Art Institute of Austin. In addition, she taught at Clemson University in SC, while working toward her Masters in Fine Arts degree, which she received in 2007. She also graduated from Bradley University in Peoria, IL with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2005.

Jillian’s past summer months were spent teaching various drawing courses and levels at the Interlochen Center for the Arts in Michigan, and at the Art Center in Clemson South Carolina. Jillian has also been rewarded scholarships to participate and assist in summer residencies such as Haystack Mountain School of Crafts in Deer Isle MN, Penland School of Crafts in Penland NC, and Oxbow Summer School of Art and Artist in Residencies in Saugatuck MI.
